  • Hugh Alexander (real name Hugh Jackman) wrote his first song at the tender age of 14 years old called “life is what you make it.” He co-wrote two songs which entered the national charts, one of which was “keep that smile” by Delayline. Hugh secured his first record deal with funk master records (Signed by the late DJ Tony Williams)whilst in his 20s as part of a duet called Pebbles (Ryan Arscott) and PJ. He worked closely with a number of successful producers and artists most notably Errol (Clean hands) Henry (Intimate Records) and Steve Carmichael (Heart Music) Glen Goldsmith, Jack Reuben & Riddler and others. In 1980 he joined Nixon Rosembert and Fidel Rosales to create a production house called Mellow Mellow. Now as a Christian musician and songwriter, Hugh Alexander makes music across a range of styles bringing the joy and peace of the Gospel to the nations.
