Priscilla Bailey is a solo gospel artist based in the UK. In her own words she would describe her music as gospel soul with jazz and hip-hop influences.
Priscilla honed her skills whilst singing with Birmingham Community Gospel Choir, winners of BBC Songs of Praise Gospel Choir of the Year in 2015, as well as groups and Worship teams for over ten years.
Her new album, “Greater Love” is a collection of songs around the theme of the love of God and based on the scripture John 15:13 “Greater Love has no one than this, than to lay down one’s life down for his friends”. She wrote and recorded each song during a time of reflection and isolation and created a collection of songs with retro 90’s RnB, Dance and Neo Soul. The album comprises of 13 tracks and is due for release on the 23rd May 2025.
This is her second album 7 years after her debut album ‘Walking in the light’ released on 2nd February 2018.
Priscilla is now being recognised worldwide and has recently received the Gospel Xplosion award for Best RnB artist, 2024, an award achieved by public vote, and nominations for a 2025 Prayze Factor Award in the USA and StepFwd Song of the year 2023 in the RnB /Soul category. In addition to being a BBC introducing artist in 2023 for Radio Essex.
Priscilla Bailey has collaborated with US Billboard charting artist Charles Moorer Jr. and prior to that: American gospel artist Mike P Fitzpatrick, Zimbabwean hip hop artist Gosh Da Reel and UK hiphop artists Anae and Blessed Man.
Priscilla performs regularly at private and public events including weddings, festivals and open mics.
