Kingstone Reggae Band is a UK-based reggae group originating from the South Coast of England. The band was founded in November 2021 by lead singer Israel Douglas, with a vision to create music that blends authentic reggae rhythms with a message of faith, hope, and encouragement.
The name Kingstone is deeply rooted in Scripture and reflects the band’s Christian foundation. It combines two powerful biblical themes: Jesus as the King of Kings and Christ as the Cornerstone of our faith. This inspiration comes from passages in the Bible such as Ephesians 2:20 and 1 Peter 2:7, which describe Jesus Christ as the cornerstone upon which faith is built.
Kingstone is a five-piece band whose sound is rooted in reggae while incorporating elements of hip-hop, urban rhythms, and street-inspired sounds. Their energetic live performances combine uplifting grooves with meaningful lyrics that communicate the gospel in a fresh and engaging way.
Although still early in their journey, the band has already begun releasing music and building momentum.
